Rolls Royce Power Systems Digital Solutions unit has launched a number of digital products such as the MTU Go!Act smartphone app and the MTU Go!Manage web application to provide operators and managers of MTU-powered equipment with analysis of operating data from connected equipment.
Residents in assisted living facilities in the Commonwealth of Virginia will have greater assurances of uninterrupted electrical power in the event of loss of grid electricity from natural disasters or other events thanks to a newly enacted law. Senate Bill No. 1077, signed into law on February 21, 2019, requires all assisted living facilities in Virginia to install and maintain adequately sized emergency generators or have the capability to accept mobile generators.
Rolls-Royce recently introduced the next-generation Series 2000 MTU Onsite Energy diesel generator set product line for the North American market (60Hz). The new systems with a power output range from 615 to 1,250 kWe offer up to three circuit breakers mounted and wired from the factory, a 74.7dBA sound level, and a 190mph wind rating all in one package.
