BALTIMORE, Maryland and QUAKERTOWN, Pennsylvania – August 2, 2021 – Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, announced that it has acquired Quakertown, Pennsylvania based Emergency Systems Service Company, an mtu power generation sales and service provider whose territory includes eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and northern Delaware.
“The combination of these very successful and long-standing businesses, with a concentrated focus on the power generation equipment sales, service, and rental market, will provide additional capabilities and flexibility in responding to our regional and national customers,” said Trip Harrison, CEO of Curtis Power Solutions.

The addition of Emergency Systems Service Company positions Curtis Power Solutions as one of the largest distributors of mtu products and services in North America, with an expanded territory that will include Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, along with portions of New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and Kentucky.
“Effective January 1, 2022, Rolls-Royce Power Systems has awarded Curtis Power Solutions the western region of New York and the entire state of Pennsylvania for mtu power generation sales and service,” said David Johnson, CEO of Indel Power Group. “Our plan is to add locations and qualified staff to serve this expanded marketplace.”
